While anyone would love to own and use elegant and desirable utensils made of organic copper,

they often hesitate to actually use them.

This is due to preconceived notions about organic copper utensils,

specifically the misconception that they are difficult to maintain. Even though people know that organic copper is good, they don’t use it often because of this misconception.

However, modern organic copper utensils produced using the Bangja method (traditional Korean hammering technique)

don’t easily discolor or rust like before,

so you can use them as conveniently as regular utensils.

However, due to the nature of organic copper, some discoloration or staining may occur over time,

so if you periodically maintain them, you can keep them shiny and new!

*How to Care for Bangja Organic Copper Utensils

You need to prepare the organic copper utensils before using them for the first time.

Prepare a vinegar solution by mixing 2 tablespoons of vinegar into 1 liter of lukewarm water, and then soak the organic copper utensils in the solution.

Soak them for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and then take them out and wash them thoroughly.

After washing with a regular sponge and dish soap,

make sure to dry them immediately.

If you leave them to dry naturally, water stains will remain,

making the surface look spotty.

*How to Remove Stains from Bangja Organic Copper Utensils

Stains that appear on the organic copper utensils during use can be removed using a dedicated organic copper scrubber or a green scouring pad.

When both the utensil and the scrubber are dry, rub the stained area along the grain to remove the stain.

It’s important to remember that stains can only be removed effectively when the utensil is dry!!

*How to Store Bangja Organic Copper Utensils

If you don’t use the organic copper utensils frequently, you need to store them properly.

This is because organic copper utensils can easily discolor when exposed to air.

After washing and drying the organic copper utensils thoroughly, seal them tightly in plastic wrap or a similar material to prevent exposure to air.

It is important to minimize contact with air when storing them!
